Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26th, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, like Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and How Does The Cap Go Remix, and Sensimelia. All of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the young generation of reggae musicians. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up along with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue an acclaimed cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first appeared in Miami at Midem. Marley gave a concert on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bidding war.
